12 Carraig Ridge is 2.46 acres sloping south from 1,358 to 1,342 metres and is designated for a single story Edge Retreat up to 2,500 square feet. The retreat is situated along the treeline and screened from the drive by a grove of aspen and occasional spruce, with primary views to the south of Ghost Lake and the mountains of Kananaskis across the Bow valley. At the south-west edge of the lot is a walking path extending north and south through Carraig Ridge. The slope to the west of the walking path is covered with aspen and spruce, is frequented by deer and the occasional mule deer and is a seasonal elk migration route. Hawks, bald eagles and golden eagles are often seen riding the thermals overhead.
